Do peds cause cancer?
It's still unclear in today's medical sciences whether PED's cause certain cancers. Cancer is complex and is caused by mixed genetic and environmental factors. Speculations have risen as to whether Lance Armstrong's doping caused his cancer. It's tough to say doping alone caused Armstrong's testicular cancer, however there's chance it played a roll in it. Dr. Lucio Tetorni, a cancer researcher at the University of Rome Tor Vergata says, "Unfortunately, to evaluate this cancer risk in controlled clinical studies is difficult since these substances are frequently used at very high doses and in combination with other licit or illicit drugs."
